softened.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then broke.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He stepped forward slowly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each movement deliberate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Careful.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Like approaching something fragile.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He reached out\u2014<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">took the old woman\u2019s trembling hand.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Held it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Warm.<\/p>\n<p
